XMan - I appreciate your analysis. I too observed that while we had a nice rebound on Friday indicating that we be near a bottom, I do not see confirmation yet.

The 5 DMA trendline has not been broken, in fact, it seems to be well within bounds. The volume has not seen a really large confirmation. Nor has the VIX broken the trendline. These may all be broken Monday, but still reason for caution. If SPX does not clearly breakout and confirm upward trend on Monday, I will remain short and look for one more trip down.
